NEET 2017 Counseling will start from Today


There is the good news for NEET 2017 passed students is that counseling for admissions to MBBS and BDS seats in All India Quota will begin from 3rd July onwards.

The NEET 2017 counseling will be conducted in online mode. So the candidates should visit the official website for online registration.

So the passed students of NEET 2017 first should register online for counseling. Counseling will be conducted in two separate rounds to take admissions in various government and private medical colleges.

Exercise of choice and locking schedule: 12th July 2017

Seat allotment process- Round 1: 13th July 14th July 2017

Round 1 result published 15th July 2017

Reporting at the allotted Medical/Dental College: 16th July to 22nd July 2017

Round-2 exercise of choices and locking: 1st August to 4th August 2017

Round-2 seat allotment process: 5 August to 7th August 2017

Round-2 result to be announced on 8th August 2017

Reporting at the allotted Medical/Dental College: 9 August 2017 to 16th August 2017

Transfer of vacant all India quota seat to states: 16th august 2017

The counseling of NEET 2017 will be conducted for admissions to seats in government medical and dental colleges, which falls under the category of All India Quota seats. But the states Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu-Kashmir do not participate in All India Quota seats. So these states will conduct counseling for 100% state quota seats.

The counseling for admission in 85% state quota seats will be conducted by medical education department or state government. So the students can participate in 85% state quota seats.
