The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Wednesday postponed the date of the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) tier 1 from 1 August to 5 August.

Breaking Tidings for that every person who has applied for the SSC CGL 2017 and whose exam was proposed to be scheduled on from August 1 to August 20. But the commission has postponed the date of the CGL tier 1 to August 5 instead of August 1. In a notification issued on July 19th SSC said, “In partial modification to the earlier announced date(s) of the said examination from 1st August 2017 to 20th August 2017, the Commission would now be conducting the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 from 5th August 2017 to 24th August 2017. There will be no exam on 7th, 13th, 14th and 15th August 2017”.
These examinations will lead to the non-gazetted Group B and Group C posts in various ministries/departments/organizations in the government after clearing the CGL exam.
The examination will comprise of a computer based examination for tier-I and tier-II, written the descriptive examination for tier-III and CPT/DEST/Document verification for Tier-IV.
The last date to fill the online application form for that exam was 16th June 2017. Candidates had to fill the application form online. Candidates have to download the admit card before going to the exam. None of the candidates will be allowed without admit card.

- In the second step, the candidates have to go to the notice section available on the homepage of the official website.
- Now the candidates have to go to the important notice section.
