Coolpad which is gaining a good scene in the Indian Market has launched one more smartphone in the category. The Coolpad has launched the most awaited series Coolpad Cool Play 6 in India.

The smart phone will carry the dual camera in the rear although which is common nowadays. Company has launched the smart phone in a press conference and promised Android 8.0 by December.

“India and the US has now become two of the largest markets for Coolpad overseas. We are confident that with R&D capabilities and quality products, we will be able to gain an even larger market share in India and other regions,” said James Du, Global CEO, Coolpad Group. The company also plans to establish Coolpad services centres in India in at least 5 cities over the next 6 months.

The Cool Play 6 has a 5.5-inch 1080p IPC LCD covered in scratch resistant glass and sturdy metal back. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor and has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, the most in its price range.

The Cool Play 6 has a dual camera system on the back and both of them are of 13MP f2.0 cameras that work together to improve the detail in images. The second camera is also used as a depth sensor to create background blur in images. On the front is an 8 megapixel sensor with f2.2 aperture.

Other features include fingerprint sensor, dual SIM support with VoLTE, USB-C connector, FM radio, 4060mAh battery and Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

Under the hood, you will find a octa-core Snapdragon 653 SoC (four 1.95GHz cores and four 1.4GHz cores), 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. You can use a microSD card for more storage, but at the cost of a second SIM due to the hybrid dual-SIM slots. 4G and VoLTE are supported. The battery capacity of the handset is rated at 4000mAh, and Coolpad says it will deliver the performance of a 4500mAh battery due to software optimisations.
