Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CGL Tier-I Answer Key 2017 on the official website All the candidates who have been appeared in the examination and eager to check how well they have performed can now download the answer key.

An approx of 15, 43,962 candidates were appeared in the exam and only 10 percent of them will be qualified for the Tier-2 examination that has been scheduled on November 10 and 11 of 2017. Candidates can compare their answer keys with the official one so that they can analyse their performance. Candidates who are not satisfied with the unveiled answer key can apply for the objection until 12th September 5:00 PM.

The SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination Tier-I examination was conducted in between August 5 to August 23. The question paper was comprised of 100 question worth 200 marks where each wrong answer will deduct the 0.50 marks. The question paper was divided in four parts Section A, B, C and D. Each section carried 25 marks.

Steps to download the answer key

  • Firstly, go to the official website
  • Click the direct link “Answer Key” available in the top navigation bar of the homepage.
  • Click “Tentative Answer Key for SSC CGL Tier-I Examination 2017”.
  • Further Click again on “click here” to proceed to the login page.
  • Login using the same credentials while taking the exam.
  • The answer key will be rendered on the screen.
  • Take the print out.

Candidates who expect that they have cleared the examination then they can start preparing for the SSC CGL Tier-2 Examination, the SSC CGL Tier-I Result is expected to be launched within 15-20 days till then the aspirants will have to wait.

Candidates after qualifying Tier-2 examination will be called for the Personal Interview or may be the Group Discussion where candidates will have to show their communication skills.
