Former Captain MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya took India from a very tough situation to the respectful score of 281 where Pandya scored 83 and Dhoni scored 79 runs respectively. Firstly after the first inning the match was delayed by rain and later on the match was started with Duckworth Lewis Rule and limited to 30 overs.

At one stage when India was 85/5 it was looking like India would not score more than 150 hardly but the efforts of the former captain MS Dhoni and all rounder Hardik Pandya took the scoreboard to 281. The big hitting in the end helps India in D/L calculation. As per the D/L rules the Australia was given the target of 164 runs from 30 over. Glenn Maxwell provided glimmer of hope with a cameo and took the task to the spinners. But in the end, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav picked up three wickets and two wickets each to take the target beyond Australia’s reach. Pandya also picked up two wickets to make his case for Man of the Match.
The All round performance of Pandya where he took 2 wickets and hit 5 maximum and 5 fours and scored 83 runs from 66 balls with the strike rate of 125.7 made India won the match.
At one stage when Glenn Maxwell provided the hopes with the cameo and took the task again the spinners. But in the end Yuzvendar Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav picked up three wickets to put the target beyond the reach of Australia’s Batsman and Finally the match was under the Indian team.
The match of India which was totally dependable in the hands of Bowler and they had prooed their wellness in the match too. The openers of India where Rohit Sharma tried to give a start whereas Kohli, Manish Pandey were caught out on Zero Only. Anjikya Rahane was also unable to give a satisfactory performance and out on 5 runs only. Kedhar Jadhav made his effort and scored 40 runs in 54 balls.
